About the Diligents
It was a winter Saturday night just before the millennium in Oviedo FL and somehow we convinced the DJ at WTKS, Shawn "Trippy" Fennell to play our demo "Lake Crystal Drive" to a hungry crowd. I was fortunate to be a fan of the Diligents for many years before becoming the drummer. I performed many times as a guest with the band in FL RI PA NJ and it just seemed natural to embrace these songs and give them new life. Clinging to the Rubble is my favorite album and partnering with Geno on the concept was exciting to say the least. I love to play drums, I play everyday, and I also love to eat, so if your venue has food, win win. See you at a show!

I have been playing in the Diligents since I was 14. My first gig was drummer at Dover Downs Casino for NASCAR. My second gig, the very next day, was bassist at Capt. Hirams Sebastian Beach FL.. 2 days later Geno and I were playing Music Row in Nashville, it was a fun summer! I am a quick learner and play with tremendous passion. I have covered every instrument in this band over the years and know this music inside and out. I am also the Guitarist of the Carousel Kings, yep!

I love to collaborate and I am here to network. My music and the Diligents are extremely important to me. Brian and Will are my backbone and together we make people move. I consider it a blessing to say that some of our songs are now over 20 years old and I still love to sing them! I have been fortunate to perform with many great artists in every environment imaginable. I love the challenge of a new audience, and I encourage you to learn our songs before coming to a show!

About the Diligents
It was a winter Saturday night just before the millennium in Oviedo FL and somehow we convinced the DJ at WTKS, Shawn "Trippy" Fennell to play our demo "Lake Crystal Drive" to a hungry crowd. Program Manager Katherine Brown quickly added the song to weekend rotation. Shortly after we had a CD release party at One Eyed Jack's downtown Orlando and began playing all of the area clubs. We were also fortunate to gain popularity at the surrounding beaches thanks to additional radio support from WJRR Orlando, WKRO Daytona and WSTW in DE. Currently we live in the DE Valley where we play shows and create new music. However, our band the Diligents has deep roots in Central Florida, New England, the Caribbean and the West Coast due to our lengthy tour history. You may have heard our songs on the radio in the late 90s and 2000s before the internet explosion. We have released 5 albums over these years and have performed over 2000 times. You may have seen us in Philly, Jersey, Delaware, Rhode Island, Columbus GA, Minneapolis MN, the secret submarine base on Andros Island or the Virgin Islands. We are still at it, we love to play live. Our shows are full of improv, we never know what we are going to play next. We hope you will come and experience the Diligents.
