Bravo! This song starts out with such an inviting combination of chords that ease into the warm good mood that this song radiates. It is like warm butter melting into this very listenable combination of great vocals, harmonies, excellent riffs, powerful drums that get the rhythm done without overpowering. When I saw that it was a >5 minute long song, I was bracing myself, however, this song DELIVERS. It actually felt too short! I could have listened longer. We have all been there when a 3 minute song seems like a horrible waste of time. Not so with Parachute. I want to hear more of what this band has to offer. I think that you will, too. I highly recommend taking a listen to this great song. I just starred it to add to my favorites!

This is a real treat for fans of proper plug in music. I'm in the digital world as well as the analogue, but this is clearly a meaty, organic track. Great vocals and lyrics are enhanced by some superb musicianship. Topped with a heaped tablespoon of K.A. drums, the track rocks along with all the classic hallmarks of American rock. Well done folks, this is an entertaining classic that has inspired me to shred on my Telecaster tonight. Great sound, great licks, great drums, and vocal performance from all the band. A banger !

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the guitar intro welcomes us into a medly of instrumentation that serves to bring in The Diligents vocals. Here, the passion and determination to take the leap out of the plane hoping the parachute will open.

A long song with many ideas and quite some stops and breaks and surprises. A powerful voice that could be even more in front. Guitar riffs for at least three songs. The drumming is somehow undetermined, especially in the verses. Some very nice vocal harmonies though. All in all, I am missing sort of a flow. But probably this is just my personal preference. Just listened a second time, and things become a bit clearer. Quite artful in some moments, but still I think a bit less of guitar riffs, a bit more straightness in the drums and a bit more punch for the vocals in the mix would help the song to become more catchy.

I think your description as modern rock is totally accurate here. And what we need is more modern rock to continue to forge into the 21st century. Your song is a great example of modern rock. Keep 'em coming, this is good stuff!

The sound very relaxing and clean of this interesting ballad hides a rock heart, where the melody and the 90s elettronic guitars have a so good balance. This song is very well played too.
