Hello hello everyone. Hope you are maintaining in this dark dark time. This song came up from the deepest part of me that I usually suppress. Not so much for pleasure as for reflection but, like a lot of sad subjects, it creates its own kind of pleasure!

So Be Your Girl is the latest song I’ve posted. I wrote it from my point of view but thought I’d flip it and give it to Brittany Jones who’s my favorite girl singer. I find that the lyrics apply equally no matter the gender.

So here is a “new” song I finally finished up. It’s more about a feeling than a particular person. I could be your midnight, I could be your dawn. The dark and the light. Seemed like a cool idea. But a bit harder to write because more abstract so I just tried to keep it simple. Britney Jones, who also sings Miracle, has a beautiful, yearning voice that I love.
