It has come true... I have COVID-19
Hello,
Not the sort of note I like to start on. It has come true... I have COVID-19.
Tested late in the game once I had lost my sense of taste and smell, because I live with many of the symptoms all the time because of what has disabled me for years.
Fortunately, I have probably got extra antibodies because I have had some really deadly flu along the way, which I obviously have also survived.
Also fortunately, I have not become congested, as most have who have contracted this flu, so singing has not been impeded as much by that as by social distancing.
Unfortunately, I have had to move and lost my software company business partner due largely to the pandemic and I have been operating from a motel room instead of my lab and studio.
The words of my virus parody "Virus Lockdown Blues" have come true, but as my sons are always welcome to point out, we are survivors.
Stay healthy, keep your distancing, and for the sake of all, wear appropriate masks when you need to be out in public.
Those that pray, please pray that I have a new home and studio soon.
