About H2eau Projekt
My name is Konrad (Konny) Zimmermann and I am the founder of the H2eau Projekt. I was born in the last millennium (18. Dec. 1958) near the dutch boarder in Germany, Bocholt. Grown up with Mozart, The Beatles, Tchaikovsky, T-Rex (Marc Bolan) Genesis, Zappa, NEU, Kraftwerk, CAN, War, James Brown, Prince, my music is as multifaceted and chaotic as the water. I am Konny Zimmermann and I play World Music, Chillout Sounds, Electronic Beats, Rock, Pop, Classic and Jazz themes with the H2Eau Waterdrum. The sounds will instantly immerse the audience from the dancefloor into a world of new listening experiences, driven by a unique liquid touch to any song or sound. Water, Wasser, Woda, Aqua, Agua, Eau … is designer and shaper of our world. to make music and sounds with water is the basic idea of the project H2eau. The idea and concept and H2eau Aqua Drum was developed by Konrad Zimmermann. H2eau – WATER DRUM – SOUNDPOOL – H2eau Performance – AQUAPHONIE Music and art created with the elixir of life water Water is the basic instrument of the H2eau AQUAPHONIE performance. Acrylic glass bowls filled with water, equipped with hydrophones (underwater microphones) of the company “Sonar Surround” are the main components of our “water drum”. All rhythms of the performance are played live with water. The sounds and grooves produced are unique. Some of them are linked to water compositions of famous Debussy, Smetana and Rimsky Korsakov. The sound is crystall clear and transparent similar to chill out sound of Yann Tiersen (Gotan Project). Mixed with electro-, trance-, techno- or jazz-sounds our themes like “wade in the water” lead the audience to an unexpected listening experience. The highly sensitive hydrophones translate finest nuances, without any noise or feedback, and the water is making its own unique sound. Variety is ensured by our special instruments – like day to day articles and kitchen tools such as plastic bottles, whisks, shells, sand, just to name some of them. Literally anything could be used as instrument, and therefore our performance often brings a smile to everyone who first listens to the music, and then actually watches how the sound is produced. Special light effects, reflected and broken by water, create a magic mystic atmosphere. The Hydrophone was tested 2010 for the first time for the performance. The result and the possibilities are sensational. The first H2eau performance took place 1997. The first H2eau CD was published 1998. H2eau in the Internet since 01.01.2002. Winner 25. Hello dear music lovers,
I would like to say or write something friendly and motivating about the current situation on our blue marble, on which we are kindly allowed to share our time with many other creatures. But it's really hard to do this at the moment.
But with the thought of so many wonderful people who bring messages of peace and love into the world with music, I feel better again.
I was on a TV show in February and played my song "Dein Bademeister" live there.

"Rumbah-Tambah-Banana-Pardy-2022-23" is a fully banana song. Just like our world is often fully banana. Billions of €, $, money, energy and resources are bananas wasted on war and rearmament to kill. Fighting thirst, hunger and need, I'm part of it and I think every halfway reasonable person sees it the same way.
But moping all the time, burying my head in the sand is not my thing.

An I love the Water. I was 11 as I watched the Moon landing on TV live with my mother and the whole family. "A small step for a human being, a big step for humanity," said Neil Armstrong, the first human being on the moon at the time. We, the whole of humanity, watched the television live and kept our fingers crossed - prayed for the astronauts that everything should go well for them. The belief in world peace was in many hearts.
I belive that our fate lies in the water. If we save, help, cherish, Oceans, Rivers - our nature, we will manage a good future for all of us to make .
I create music and art with the elixir of life - water.
Water is the basic instrument of my H2eau AQUAPHONIE sound.
Acrylic glass bowls filled with water, equipped with hydrophones are the main components of my "H2eau water drum" (Many Thanks to Ambient Recording).
I play World Music, Chillout Sounds, Electronic Beats, Rock, Pop, and Jazz themes with my H2eau Waterdrum. The sounds will instantly immerse the audience into a world of new listening experiences, driven by a unique liquid touch.
Any H2Eau rythmics and beats are played live in and with water. Songs, Sound elements and grooves are linked to water poetry of famous lyricists (Heine, Goethe, Laotse ....) and also to compositions of Debussy, Smetana and Rimsky-Korsakow.
All rhythms of the songs (Love Youe Ocean / The Shore / Save the Water ...) are played live with the H2eau Waterdrum.
Acrylic glass bowls filled with water, equipped with hydrophones (underwater microphones) of the company "Ambient Recording" are the main components of my "H2eau Waterdrum".Youll dive in to an unexpected listening experience.

My Target!
Through my doing and creating and through my music I want to help protect and save our ocean with all my might.
My songs are declarations of love to mother ocean. I hope everyone who hears my newest songs "Love Your Ocean", "Save the Water", is inspired to do everything possible for our blue wonder. Let us all together fight with creativity, joy and diligence for our blue wonder pearl.
