About A Trip Label

"The Trip" born Ramon D Taylor on December 16th
1979 in Chicago Heights Illinois lived in many south suburban
neighborhoods of Chicago Illinois. At 8 years old "The Trip"
recited his first rap which his aunt wrote for him, from that
point "The Trip" developed a love for the literary art of
speaking poetry to a beat. As "The Trip" began writing his own poetry
and freestyling with different groups and artists from areas he lived
in like Robbins, Harvey, Roseland, and the Southside of Chicago he
developed his own unique style of rapping. His high energy unorthodoxed
yet universal style mixed with a street savy way of approaching the beat
will be a treat for anyone who can appreciate rappers like Tupac Shakur,
Jeezy, and Xzibit with a new school midwest twist.
In the mid 90's "The Trip" was featured on a show with female mc
Chocolate at Ora's and again at the Dolton Expo. After the passing of
his mother in 1998, he became more determined to grant the wish
of his deceased mom, being the best at whatever he does, in his
case it's creating music from the beat to the lyrics, mixing
and masterin
