I am so excited to announce the release of Texas Louisiana Border's new Christmas CD. Five Christian songs and five secular pieces make up the album. Please stop by link or my website link and take a listen.
It's been a good year for music working with my friend out of Corpus Cristi.
On top of that I have had the opportunity to work with another friend on his original music which he is releasing sometime in November.
As far as my writing my own compositions, I hate to admit this, but I have what is called writers block. I will begin working on something soon. Presently I am just keeping my eyes and ears open for ideas and jotting them down.

Time to catch up some. Presently I'm working on a new CD with Texas Louisiana Border. It will be a 10 song CD of which we have completed 4 songs thus far. the style is Easy listening Adult contemporary. I will let you know when we are close. Our producer would like it by the summer. Not much time.
As for as playing music publicly at this time in my life, "The Glory Rhodes" have link to health issues so I am in the process putting together a 4 piece combo and we are scheduled to perform in May.
New music will be coming soon but in the meantime I greatly appreciate your support. Keep listening and share with others.

Hey, It's been a while I know since I have written. Wanted to let you know I released a new EP of 4 Holiday songs. "something in the Air" is based on a true story during Halloween. "Somewhere Between" is about our somewhat forgotten Thanksgiving Celebration. The last two pertain to Christmas. Take a listen and drop me a comment.
Other than that things are going well on my end. I am continuing to record, perform and co-arrange with Texas Louisiana Border. We should have an Easy Listening CD out by the end of the year. I am also completing a recording project with a local New Orleans musician 'Dr. T". That's what's going on musically on my end. I do hope all is well. Covid saw many changes in our lives. Me personally Connected with a friend from my past and began recording long distance. Since then Texas Louisiana Border has released 7 albums. But this is not what I am writing about. I also released a personal cd entitled, "Reflections of Life" which includes music composed during those 2 1/2 years.
