CELEBRATING LOU REED! March 2, 1942 – October 27, 2013
"Surfbreakers and the Bellygroove" is re-released and now available on Spotify, iTunes and an many other platforms.
On the release in 2013 it showed the transformation of "Surfbreakers", to a collective of musicians with a whole new sound and instrumentation.
We are very proud that Mr. Reed’s publisher, EMI Publishing Ltd obo Oakfield Avenue Music Ltd. approved our cover version of his iconic song "Venus in Furs".

About 10 years ago, our debut album was well received, including in GAFFA, a major danish music magazine.
It started a lot of action, crazy life and happy days around our band Surfbreakers.
For that reason, it grew to become "Surfbreakers and The Bellygroove".
We celebrate this with a re-release of the debut "Facing the Abyss".
