Hello All, Lent is not too far away and is a time of reflection as we prepare for Easter and celebrate Jesus rising from the dead. 'Loosed the chains' is a song that reflects on the fact that Jesus waits patiently for people to open themselves up to him and that when they do, he steps into their world and shares in their daily journey with all of its ups and downs, celebrations and difficulties. It is a song of thanksgiving and recognises that sinners as we are, Jesus gave his life for us, looked out for us, and continues to look out for us, everyday. Knowing that we have an amazing future because of Easter, I hope this coming Lent, is a time of release and refreshment for us all as we face the continuing struggle against the pandemic.
