Hello again from my local Library since my Browser is acting up and don't trust it anymore to post my News Letter for all of you to read and get updated on my goings on. Boy, does time fly since I posted 2 weeks ago, and a 'lot' has happen'd both personally and musically. Let me first say Hello to 'ALL' the New mailing list members who have joined the over 3.2k others from all over the World and here in the States getting this mass e-mail at the 'same' time! WELCOME to my list. Please tell your friends on FBk and Twitter about and spread the word. Let's get to it! The e-mails, comments and reviews are coming in 'Left and Right for "These Colors Won't Run"...most of them are 'Great' and believe it or not ~ there was (1) so-so review from someone in L.A. who thought it wasn't "Radio" worthy cause it was too long. WOW!....The nerve of some people who can't see pass their own noses. But, what can I say...he's from L.A.!.....I'll leave it there. I looked up his Bio and saw that he went to school in a Music University where I was schooled at the University of Hard Knocks in the Hood...not in a classroom. I know people like that who can't play without the music being in front of them. If you take it away from them, they can't play, and on top of 'that' ~ they can't memorize it or play off the top of their heads. Now, 'that' to me is funnier than them telling me my music sucks or is not Radio worthy. Oh, well....to each their own. If I can't say something nice about someone's music, I'll keep it to myself, unless they want an honest opinion. Other than that, I'll keep my mouth shut...but like I said ~ he is from L.A. where they seem to know it better than us 'little' people. I love my friends from L.A. don't get me wrong...but there is 'always' some D.A. out there or like Eric Clapton once said: "There's One is Every Crowd". Enough of my Ranting... I plan to continue being here for as long as I can. I'd like to see the plays hit the 2M mark by the end of 'this' year....Let's DO it! It seems that an 'appointment' day is in the works to where we can 'all' get together for a quick 'Live' jam where I will be able to record it and post it here at N1Music. I'm having a problem the their wives who don't trust them with me for the weekend, because of my past. Yes, I was a little out of control in the '70's all thru the 80's, and they seem to think I'm still that way. they don't believe I quit drinking beer on New Years 1996. Before 'that'....I had over 5 cases of beer on hand at all the rehearsals we had and we'd all get drunk and play till it ran out. Those Were The Days when I was young and dumb and could party down. Now, I'm saving that money and buying my house with it instead of pissin' it down the drain...but the wives stiff don't believe it for some reason. Gotta Go...
