Hi Friends,
With the Easter season here, I want to share a song that honors the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. Since my husband passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, I find myself longing more and more for heaven and the loved ones I will be reunited with. And I can't imagine the feeling of joy and overwhelm that I'll feel surrounding the throne of Christ and singing praises to Him! It will be glorious.
May you keep your eyes on the prize as you continue to look heavenward to the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Thank God for His indescribable gift!

Dear friends in Christ,
This is a serious situation we find ourselves in. Our nation is in the middle of the biggest crisis we've had since 9-11 and World War II. I've been feeling out of control. I'm stuck 2500 miles from home and haven't seen my husband for 2 months! My elderly mom was in the hospital, and her Dr. won't let her fly home. So we are in lock down at my sister's house, south of the LAX airport.
In times like this, we need to go to God for strength, peace, and protection over our homes and families. I hope all of you are heeding the government's warnings and 'stay at home' orders. I'm thankful that millions of Christians around the world are praying for God to intervene. Let's keep our leaders in our prayers. God did not send this pandemic, but He is working good in many ways to bring us through it.

I'm so grateful for all the medical workers who put their life on the line every day. Thank you.

An award-winning songwriter, lyricist, arranger, author, and President of Noteworthy Christian Music (ASCAP), Patty Felker resides with her husband, Rick, in Durham, NC. She played the piano, flute, and guitar most of her life, but didn't begin writing music until she turned 40 years old , after making a simple, prayerful request of God to help her write a song. Since then, she has written over 200 pieces, of many different styles, from orchestral to choral, to Inspirational, Country Christian, Pop/Rock, Praise and Worship, and Hymns. She has co-written several songs with Vivian Moore, a poet and songwriter, from Raleigh, NC.
