My name is MIZZY BLACK, and I'm from Philadelphia. I grew up in North Philadelphia and North east Philadelphia. In a single parent home ,my mom worked hard to make sure my sister and I had it all. Writing came natural at the age of 13, I picked up on writing after watching a popular 80's rap movie (krush groove). I perform (Sheila E.) little freestyle she had in the movie for a school talent show and won 1st place ,that's what made me really want to become a ARTIST. My writing stem from life experiences, things I see, and hear. I paint a picture with my own thoughts to every beat. My goal is to reach that untapped potential I know I have. Not only do I want the world to hear my music but I want the world to receive a message from it.
