About Lisina Masina

Lisina Masina is a singing bass player based in Southafrica. He worked with lots of SA legends and abroad as a bass player, he worked with Caiphus Semenya, Leta Mbuli, Mbuso Khoza, Angelique Kidjo and Addy Grant just to mention a few. Lisina has also produced an African jazz artist from eSwatini Itallo Dlamini.
Lisina released 4 singles on all online streams where he is singing and playing the bass guitar. His 1st single is titled (Uthanda kanjani) meaning how do u like it, it’s a kwela sound that was created from Southafrica with a pennywhistle , the 2nd (Mr Gumede) is a tribute to the late bass player, a song writer, an arranger the legendary Sipho Gumede as a musician and bassist that he has learned a lot from.
The 3rd (Babygirl) is an African song that has difference influences from Africa, the 4th (Matswale) it’s an adaptation from Caiphus Semenya’s song Mme Matswale since he has worked with him as his bass player, He has learned a lots of things from him as a composer and arranger as a musician.
Lisina Masina is still working as a session musician and performing as an artist.
