Hello All:
Hope you're doing well. I am dedicating the first three songs on my catalog list to my uncle, Alvin Porties Sr. He was more than an uncle, but a friend, mentor, and much more, love. He was a composer; a great musician as you will hear in these recordings. He will be missed. He was the unidentical twin of Melvin Porties who preceded him in death. They called themselves "womb mates." Alvin was the instrumentalist; Melvin was the vocalist. They were both ministers of the gospel. Alvin Porties Sr. (May 5, 1937 - October 17, 2023). May he rest in peace and in power.

About Larry Savoy Buford
Buford’s story is one of perseverance and love for music. With his feet planted firmly in Hitsville and Soulsville, Buford brought all that he learned to these tracks that he recorded over a period of years. I don’t know if he has other songs packed away, but hopefully One More Time will not be the last time that we hear from this singer/songwriter.
