Hip hop culture on the island has grown so quickly over the years, some stuff may have got forgotten or lost along the way. We would like to show the proper respect to some of the individuals who were around and help build this scene before the social media era as well as showcase up and coming talent as well. We hope you'll join us on this journey. Headlining the evening will be Kavawon from Nanaimo, a true island legend and O.G. We also have Knovel from Duncan, a local O.G. who was part of the first hip hop group based out of Duncan Last but not least, Abyss.
