Happy and Prosperous New Year 2024 . I hope your families are blessed and enjoying the fine music on this site . I lost some close family members and friends who I performed with for decades. I have a lot of other tunes and music but are having problems with newer equipment and recording techniques. It was much easier in my home town setup . My collaborators are farther but with the internet we just have to figure it out. I enjoy working with them. The Bossa Medley I did by myself and had no inkling I would be sharing it and receiving such positive response! Thank you to all my subscribers and network and it is truly a blessing to share my expressions, You make it happen!

Even in this time we can strive , take precautions and now get out to share and enjoy each other's gifts and talents. I have finally upgraded my account and will be adding more tunes with an album named 53rd Street. named after the famous 52nd street in NYC where a lot a legendary jazz was created. Of course the audiences that saw all of the famous musicians were a huge part of the culture. I hope my variety of music can exude the same feeling from the variety of subscribers and fans I have been blessed to know. I will contact my two collaborators also to make more original offerings/arrangements. Thank you for your patience!

Thank you to all my subscribers who really make my collaborators and I the artists we want to be! We wanted to give life some originality after entertaining for decades together. There are more tracks in the New Age style of Consolidated Freaks and My collaborator Bruce Riley has his own tracks of Hip-Hop, Smooth Jazz he sells on the internet. Ezell Jones and i have been making music since our youth in 1970 ,he really wanted to connect with young listeners and I am really amazed the response from younger listeners. We did the tracks 2004 - 2010 so as we get more ideas we will remain prolific and they have given me their work on other projects and their own. Its really exciting to have them here on this site. Thank you again as you will only help us to get better, our first mentor taught us to love our audience!

The state capital a child of the 60s where there were many singing groups. My mom's brother was a full time musician who played with jazz greats amongst them Dinah Washington. Our town was a minor stop on the Chitlin's & Gravy circuit that groomed black entertainers like George Benson in Jazz now a POP Superstar and The Ohio Players who went from blues to Funk. Dancers, Comedians, Tap dancers, exotic dancers. We were groomed by musicians who unselfishly backed singers at the tail end of the 60s Motown era. I had a desire to be a good musician on saxes and flute but also dance music. So learned guitar and later bass guitar. Jazz beckoned and I was able to be in an evironment where I could sub for a jazz group on bass and play in a gospel group also. Churches backthen didn't have good bass players and no horns or drums except the Sanctified churches. In college in Pittsburgh a great jazz town and music and the arts period while studying engineering the Jazz, RnB , Gospel , Independent music radio stations were very good and I could more efficiently stay playing music. AFter college I was able to secure work in a stable field and keep studying Jazz and related forms, Form being the key word, Structure, keys , Modes, tonalities. I lwearned many tunes by ear but always could read music on all the woodwinds I play and chords on keyboard, Bass from playing guitar in my youth. After two years or so I decided to post some pre- demos from a decade back on N1Music and have been blessed by many positive favorable comments and encouragement. There so many good artists here who I enjoy listening to. I look forward to adding more tracks and thank my subcscribers especially the younger listeners. All generations have those with the attention span to enjoy an artists offerings to experience emotion and expression.
