About Jonni Chi

Jon Nichimyoun Taylor lives his life as a composer, pianist and arranger/creator and owner of JONNI CHI & SUN TIGER MUSIC of Greater Los Angeles, California.

At the young age of eight, showed a particular interest in music, especially the piano where he, like many young kids in the neighborhood, decided to take up private lessons in Love piano and organ.
He has always had a fond devotion for music and art, paintings in particular. After going through four years of college to receive his degree(s) in Music Education and Ethnomusicology, JonNichimyoun decided to embark upon a career in composing.

His main interest here was focused on film scoring, arranging and orchestration. For more than two decades, he resided in Europe, where he met his beloved teacher, the famed, Mademoiselle, Nadia Boulanger in Paris, France. He re-located a few years later to the Austrian capital ,Vienna, where he made several performances for cultural affairs, private concerts and musical theater.

He returned to the United States in 1999 and now presently resides in the Greater Los Angeles area with his family.
