About Jason Merritt

I am a singer/songwriter living and working in Chapel Hill, NC, 20 light years above the plane of the galaxy (Earth, that is) I also write and produce for other artists from time to time. I grew up in Gainesville, FL., land of Palmettos and Pine trees. Went to school in Asheville, NC. Built a studio in Wilmington, NC. Worked in (expired link). studios for four years (Dr. Dre to (expired link) to HotHotHeat) Currently living in Chapel Hill, NC. I love it here. Indie bliss. I call Overdub Lane my second home.
I am a songwriter first-and-foremost. It's one of those things I find myself doing without realizing.
I also record/produce other artists. It's all in the moment. Onward and up!
