Hello, and greetings to the readers who may lay their vistas upon these hallowed words today. To all who will partake in this apological journey of life's Chronos moment. The goal is to tickle your senses and to message your brain with a thirst/ hunger to know more about the artist.
Jason J Knight is known to have adopted many genres, including reggae, alternative, hip-hop, country, blues, and a fusion of gospel and trap. He is constantly experimenting with different genres and blending sounds to make them his own.
What is discovered is the sweet and sweaty sounds of life with the up-and-down beat essence of hip-hop. This sound faithfully accentuates traditional tones with the modern, traditional syncopation maintained by the time-honored blues harmonica. Nothing is lost; the old and the new are combined to make Blues Hop an exciting sound in the tradition of legendary and inspirational artists like John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, BB King, and Bobby Blue Bland. Jason's music is a sound of poverty and the struggle that pulls his bootstraps up.
Jason J Knight - Can't Stop It [Official Music Video]
The video takes place in our modern world but the lyrics take place in January 1863. The Emancipation Proclamation was just signed into law. The urban Frederick Douglass is telling the story of freedom and the struggles of America. Through expression 1863 the environment would have been very tense and stressful as the country moves forward as a free United States.
"The cause of human freedom and the cause of our common country, for these two causes, are now one and inseparable and must stand and fall together - Frederick Douglass who offers a prayer of assurance, as the faithful kept watch for the days of Jubilee.
