I-53 is a band/ministry that was formed in 2007 with a vision that God had given to Fernando Alvarez. This vision showed Fernando that he was to use the gifting that he once used for secular purposes', to now use for the Lord. How? By using songs of hope and salvation, putting together a band of musicians with the same passion and drive, and to spread God's love while sharing His word through song.
I know to some people this may sound a little far fetched, but in his heart he knows it's true.
So now teamed up with - Danny Metcalf (Bass and Backing vocals) Robert Sweet (Lead Guitar) and Marcia Escobosa (Keyboard, Guitar and Backing Vocals) Jay Moceri (Drums), They begin a blessed journey.
