About genGSTA svnREYN
Rey Flores was born in Pilsen, Chicago in 1976. Started songwriting in 1996 as “genGSTA svnREYN” & wrote what is now called “epiSODE” off of “genGSTA svnRIZE” his 1st (LP). The song was written after an actual event that took place one evening gang members made an attempt to take his life. He continued to write, filling notebooks with gangster lyrical content; women, survival, and true experiences. Gengsta Svnreyn independently pursued his art form with the founding of the publishing company Svnreyn International Music. Gengsta Svnreyn made the decision to concentrate mainly on his vocals rather than producing. In 2002 he took an 8 year detour by joining the Army, he still wrote periodically but not nearly as much.
2007 is when genGSTA svnREYN met Chris Love Jordan of ITF Entertainment who was able to edit, reproduce, mix, & master tracks genGSTA svnREYN produced in the past. They put together what is now known as “-Reyz Up! Hu$tle&Flo-the mix tape” which is comprised of songs from up & coming albums to be released by genGSTA svnREYN. The mix tape was released July 2010 to prepare the “genGSTA svnRIZE” album due to release later that same year. It is the 1st of a trilogy of albums executively produced by genGSTA svnREYN himself. On 20JUN2011 he performed for the 1st time, 4 songs on an outdoor stage at Garfield Park on Madison & Central park. His album’s available online & so far at Mac Records on Madison & Central.
In 2012, while performing on Chicago’s West Side (Madison Street), genGSTA svnREYN meets CEO, (expired link), of (expired link). Entertainment, the best Earth-Wide (expired link) producer. That being said, (expired link) & I are building a genre known as (expired link) Music. 1st we brought you, "Da Crime Scene,” then we brought you "genGSTA eclIPSE", now we have an (Ep) called "(expired link) (I Now Form A Nation To Righteously Yearn) Soldiers -War Edition-", includes all the anthems we performed throughout the Midwest and parts of the south. Svnreyn International Music is officially a worldwide BMI affiliate publishing company. Be sure to keep up with all the continuing updates and releases coming soon.
