I thank you all for your support, I'm glad that my sound get a resonance in your soul and body. The first tracks are uploaded from my first CD "Drums In Da House" to present the interbreeding of traditional drums and drumming with house music or electro. Through my work I aim at broadcasting/spreading the "Drum Tradition", which has ever been imparted orally, by cultures that knew how to protect and keep alive the elders knowledge, while developing it, without using our Western music-writing mode (or lately). The "musical crossbreeding" is for me a way to present the wealth of this "drum's science". The cultures and traditions that I carry and which built my experience, influences and my style are the African (Mandingo-Malinké from West Africa), Afro-Cuban (Son, Timba, Rumba, Abakwa, Palo, Bata, ...), Spanish (Flamenco) and Arabic (from North Africa up to Middle-East). I grew in a jazz mood, rock and classical music too, because I was born in a musicians, music teachers and orchestra chief family, so the music was already playing in my heart when I'm in the womb of my mother. I spent 4 years living in Morocco and started to product my second album. The following issue project (2° LP) "MI ESENCIA" was begun, for traditional percussions and musical compositions based on musical crossbreeding, like a return to "the roots". The target is to play in a sound field more natural, more acoustic, including jazz, soul, and traditional music. Currently this project is on standby, waiting for favorable circumstances, to rebirth when the time comes. I came back to Paris recently and currently, all my percussions, home-studio and materials are still in Morocco. But maybe I'll upload some parts of new tunes from this second production project if I can find some recorded tracks to pr-masterize a bit. So, do not worry if the style of my prod changes suddenly, some should be really different from the first downloaded tracks, sounding more raw and others exclusively percussive. This is one of my peculiarities, I have a thousand faces but I am still centered, connected and aligned, like a palm tree planting its roots deep in the ground and pushing its palms towards the stars. I can touch several traditions in a composition as I can play in the pure traditional style of one.
