About Eric Allaman

Eric Allaman is an American composer who has worked in Film, Television, Theater, and Ballet. Eric’s scores have been performed and recorded with orchestras in Moscow, Russia, St. Petersburg, Russia, Berlin, Germany, Belgrade, Serbia, Prague, Czech Republic, and Skopje, North Macedonia.

Eric has composed the scores for 45 movies and over 600 episodes of television including Duck Dynasty, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Mike Hammer Private Eye, Elvira’s Haunted Hills, Latter Days, Sherlock Holmes, Liberty’s Kids, and Legend to name a few.

In theater, Eric has written four musicals, including Zeitelmoos – Im Bann Anderer Mächte with Hartmut H. Forche (2022), Wake Up with Bob Garrett (2021), Battleship Potemkin with Jeffrey Couchman (2014), and Voices from the Cellar with Robert White (1989). He has written three ballets with Kim Maselli, (Artistic Director of the Pacific Festival Ballet), Camelot (2019), Noah’s Ark (2010), and The Sea Princess (2007). He has also written the music to several plays, including The Geography of Luck, Dragon Lady, Stendhal, and Relay. Allaman has released two collections of piano solos. What We Whispered is a selection of pieces he composed during the COVID-19 pandemic and was released in 2022. His first solo piano album, Berlin Diary was released in 2010 and plays as a memoir of his life in West Berlin.

Eric has worked with a diverse collection of talent including Jon Voight, Ridley Scott, David Fincher, Tom Cruise, Randy Jackson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kirsten Dunst, Larry the Cable Guy, Shia LaBeouf, Marcus Nispel, RC Matheson, Sam Shepherd, Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Jon Anderson of Yes, Stacy Keach, Robert Mitchum, Rick Springfield, and Tony Award winners: Anthony Crivello, Maryann Plunkett, Alice Ripley, and Billy Porter.
