Thank you all, so much, for your unerring ongoing support and in playing my songs. It is much appreciated.
Unfortunately, I am feeling a little downhearted.
I was really wanting to celebrate my 71st Birthday on the 30th of September by gifting to you all, a free download (for 24hours only) of all my songs online at https://www.numberonemusic.com/donsmythe
if my musician's Facebook page had reached the 2000 followers mark, by the 30th of September.
Even tho it was regularly and widely publicized as such, over a 2 and a half month timeframe, the appeal of a free download has not gained the extra fans needed to meet the target.
That being the case, the free download will not happen on the 30th of September 2019 'cause my Facebook Music page fan base is currently at 1766 followers.
It's a shame, but that is life in music. You have your ups and your letdowns, but keep on anyway.
Maybe, I'll offer a free download at another time. We will see.
Some good news tho...
I will have a new 12 song CD "Country Songs From The Heart Vol.2" that will be released for airplay and sale early next year for you all to look forward too.
Meantime stay happy and enjoy each day as you find it.
