Catrina is a highly accomplished and sought after soprano soloist with an extensive and versatile performance background. In addition to her classical prowess, she has toured the (expired link) as a member of the choir with the acclaimed PBS show Celtic Woman (2008), while from 2003 until 2007 Catrina also performed as a soloist with Michael McGlynn's dynamic Irish choral Group, Anúna. She is also an experienced church musician and was a featured soloist in both the Eucharistic Congress (2012) and the Papal visit celebrations (2018). She has regularly recorded for, and sang live on, (expired link). and radio.

During the recent lockdowns, Catrina has been extremely active with producing concerts and musical content online. Through groups such as Songbirds live-streaming concert group and Classical Crossover Community, she has participated in a number of international projects with great reviews.

A concert soloist, Catrina has sung at many prestigious venues. Since 2017, Catrina has performed with her duo partner, pianist Catriona McElhinney-Grimes. Recitals included a sold-out recital entitled “Dreamscapes” in the John Field Room ((expired link)) in 2017, while in January 2019, the duo performed the world premiere of a new song cycle by Colman Pearce which was written specially for them. In 2020 they released their album Urú to critical acclaim.

As a guest soloist, she has featured with many prominent Irish Choral Societies, instrumental groups and with artists such as Liam Lawton.

Catrina has enjoyed numerous performances in the operatic sphere: solo engagements include the roles of Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice), 1st Lady (The Magic Flute), Sandman/Dew Fairy (Hansel and Gretel) and Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), all for North Dublin Opera.
‘Puccini in concert’, featured excerpts of roles including Mimi (La Boheme), Magda (La Rondine), Cio Cio San (Madame Butterfly) and Tosca (also for North Dublin Opera), while Catrina also performed the role of The Plaintiff/Angelina in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Trial by Jury” for Clifden Arts Festival.
Catrina holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from (expired link). Conservatory of Music and Drama and a BMus Degree from (expired link). She is an established vocal tutor with a keen interest in vocal performance and, in particular, the development of students in diploma and 3rd level studies.
