Possible new Net line-up?
Aloha. Hello. Greetings. Yes, after trawling through numerous applicants, for drums and bass, I have two people left, one in each position. Both are most enthusiastic, and eager to begin working on some songs. You may know these : "Crystal Blue" (which I have re-written), "Lair" (which is now slower and sleazier), and "At The End Of The Rainbow". If bass does not work out, I will do it myself, and may take on keyboards too, then look for a guitarist. So that's Net, for now. I have also co-written a musical, which we were working on since '22. We performed it for the first time today, Friday, 26th April, to a standing ovation. There is now talk of further shows, and maybe, eventually, a tour. It's all about mental health, and is provocative, and passionate. It's 40 minutes long, and there is also talk of a sequel. Back to Net. I have loads of tunes in the bag, including "Wheels", a slice of rap rock, with a warning. Also "The Labourer", a prog rock piece. And "Broken", an alternative rock number. The first two there are fully written, I can't wait to get them to you, online. Again, I hope each and every one of you is keeping well. Thanks for all the plays, it means so much. Back to the musical. As I say, there is serious talk about touring, and we are all saying that we wonder where it will end. Logically, it would begin it's journey here in Ireland, and if successful here, then the sky's the limit. UK and Europe would be next, after that, who knows? Wherever we may go, I will have my guitar with me, to play some Net material. And if Net, as a group, is a going concern, then I'll possibly have the boyz with me. I don't see why not. Right now, obviously, it's in the balance, but stranger things have happened. I am keeping depression at bay, actually more than that, I'm in fine form. If you have this disease, my heart goes out to you. Things can seem downright impossible, I just hope you are surrounded by people that are good for you. We all need this, it's true. I hope for you that light surrounds you, and that good will is ever present in your life. I hope to see you, wherever you are in the world, and that we have enriched and happy times together.
