Thanks to all my current and new subscribers! A new song has been a long time coming but hope you enjoy and share this slightly hammed up performance:
In March 2020, COVID lockdowns brought a new grim reality to the world. During this shack-whacky time, while fondly remembering when gathering for a Saturday matinee blues jam was a thing, I wrote this tune and had some fun recording it. Loosely inspired by and old classic, Corrine, Corrina, I hope this upbeat blues brings a smile while providing cautionary guidance that still applies a year later when we have all tired of the limitations. I hope you enjoy, Corone, Corona and continue to stay patient, safe and kind.

Thanks to all of my subscribers for your support of my music. Hoping that this worldwide slowdown will find me back in the studio to complete some long postponed tracks and to add some newly written tunes to my library. Best to you in this new year with wishes for great things in 2021!

Best wishes to you in 2020! I feel this will be a great positive year for me to grow musically, and hopefully improve my ability to get my music out there. Hey there. I've been busy with my newest project, Swing Feat. Featuring 12 of the east coast's top musicians, we will be debuting our Big Band sounds on May 13 at 1st Baptist Church in Halifax, (expired link). Hosted by Dalhousie Swing Dance society, we expect the floor to be full with swing dance enthusiasts. I will be on piano and singing some classic gems for this one. Wish us luck so that we can continue to promote the great sounds of the swing era to new young ears!

HI folks! Thanks for supporting my music. Hope you have had a chance to listen to Right in the Middle of Wrong. It was just a piece of paper from a friend with some vague around the title that sat on my dresser for a year. A few days before I went into studio I thought I should have a go at it - much less wordy than most of my stuff. I wanted a solid bass line that took its roots from (expired link). King's "The Thrill is Gone" which I expanded with my jazz influences. The horn soli was my proudest part of the album and the spaciness of the tune seemed to balance some of the busyness of my other compositions. The words somewhat autobiographical I'm afraid.
