Anyone who was listening to dance music in the 90's knows who PvD is. I've wanted to do a remix of one of his tracks for a decade but never really found the kind of sound I wanted it to work with. With the advent of dub step, electronic music has gotten considerably more aggressive and gritty than what was happening during PvD's heyday. I'm finally working on building out some sounds that i think will compliment his tracks in a modern, aggressively charged way. Lots of distortion, some brilliant metal guitar sounds, and a general feeling that the track is a crazy man shouting in your face. I have to move into a new house at the end of the month, so i'm looking to have the rest of my sounds completed by mid September, and mix/master done November. GL on your own projects.
