Anyone who was listening to dance music in the 90's knows who PvD is. I've wanted to do a remix of one of his tracks for a decade but never really found the kind of sound I wanted it to work with. With the advent of dub step, electronic music has gotten considerably more aggressive and gritty than what was happening during PvD's heyday. I'm finally working on building out some sounds that i think will compliment his tracks in a modern, aggressively charged way. Lots of distortion, some brilliant metal guitar sounds, and a general feeling that the track is a crazy man shouting in your face.

I have to move into a new house at the end of the month, so i'm looking to have the rest of my sounds completed by mid September, and mix/master done November.

The jungle track is out. Give it a listen

The old school jungle from the early 90s is experiencing a bit of a revival right now, so i've been working on some material that focuses on capturing those types of sounds with a modern twist. I am using more agressive basslines with alot of eq processing but the rest of it is certainly there: some rasta vocal samples, phased island guitar and some keyboard stabs.

Should be done in the next few weeks.

Since I haven't found a vocalist for the remix I was working on, I started on another classic trance sound project that already has amazing potential. The goal for this track was to capture the essence of the 90's era trance we so know and love. It only uses four main instruments and a minimal drum line (which is more to my style). This weekend i'll be working on adding the effects and transitions, and should be final mixing and mastering in a week or so. I look forward to your comments when I get it uploaded,

I've posted some updates that i've been working on the last few years. All in all I think they're well balanced and have a good classic trance feel. I'm currently working on a DnB cover of BOC's Astronomy and a downtempo remix of Grace's Not Over Yet. Both songs have a ton of promise, and I'm looking for a vocalist for them.

RL is keeping me very busy but I hope to have the final mixing and mastering done in the next 3-4 months.
