I sit here and trip off of how hard it is to come up when you're underground. People don't support the little guy. They rarely do what it takes to show you they appreciate you, and your music. Instead many make excuses on why they don't, but drop everything and come running when you succeed. I'm not mad, nor am I surprised at the lack of support we get from our fellow peers in our community. We grow up together, struggle, and strive together. We are the best of friends when we both are breaking laws, etc. But as soon as you take another route, one that is legal, it's almost as if they turn their backs on you because you want a future. My music isn't directed at one target audience. My music is for those who have the ear to listen, the mind to believe, and heart to go after what they want. So the lack of support in our communities is understood. How can I expect you to believe in my success when you decline daily, and don't believe in your own self? When I get to the top, I'll remember every non believer, and every believer. Your inability to support progress will not bother me, nor make me change who I am.
