Belief in thy self. Yes, there is alot of talk and that’s just what it is, talk. I couldn’t tell you how times I’ve heard a person say that thier gonna do this and that but, when the situation presents itself they buckle. Here, let me break this down like this. You’ve heard it said, hell I admit in the past I ran from success, not because of lack of talent, God blessed me with andundancd of talent, but of fear. Which when spelled out for you is simply FALSE EVIDENCE APPERING REAL. Just like a warning comes before disaster, doubt seems to always pop it’s ugly head out when success is within arms reach. You see people tend to look at themselves as less than what they really are. To cut through the chase, you are who you think you are. I don’t compare myself to the next man, even though we may be in the same field whatever the situation be. That person will walk in my shoes, only I can do that, and nobody can be me better than myself. Therefore as long as I’ve prepared for the events of life to best of my ability, that’s what I’m gonna give, thats all I have to give, which in the end makes me… A SUCCESS, AND THAT IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER. Remember you are the Captain of your own ship. Work thine mind, body, spirit. Preparation overcomes fear. So Let me leave you with this. The Word says, “LET NO ONE DICTATE YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS.” BELIEVE . And what exactly are you trying to get across to your fans? Well I take from various situations experiences circumstances to create my songs. Some are spontaneous others I take time sit down and let the pencil do the talking. Butwhatever the outcome its definently going tor represent me. I tell people all the time “listen to the lyrics” I’m not saying the words that I’m saying just because they rhyme together No, every word has a meaning so I believe that it is a must that I Express myself clearly so that anyone listening will get the true meaning of what I’m saying. When I go into the booth to lay down my vocals I’m not really in the booth. I take myself into the story that I’m telling. I’m picturing the scenes in my head as I spit. The reason I’m able to do that is because it’s me. I’ve lived these horror stories of the streets. I know about prison i know about drug dealing and drug use i know about gang violence i know about hatred racism you pretty much cant miss me with any of that. So it’s easy for me to tell about. But the one thing is the authenticity, it has to be authentic. You can tell if a person has really lived that life, by the emotion, the pain, anger, hunger, love that’s all balled up in the songs. You see it’s really a release for me. In my music is whereI let everything go. That’s when you know it is genuine and real. That’s what I strive to do in every song that I create, give you the best of me. And i leave it at that, I believe if a person takes the time and listens to what I’m saying, they’d be really surprised and enlightened believe that.
