Whelan is an Americana act based in New York City, working with Blues, Rock and Country inspiration and writing original songs aimed mostly at lamenting America's Contemporary Blues. Recorded live at John Kilgore Sound (Modern Vintage), we went for and got the live-in-studio blended sound of an older Chess blues record.
