Also to her “family” credit, is her cousin Stephen O’Remus, who is credited for his musical direction, orchestration and arrangements of many Broadway shows.
Sharyn is a composer, writing her own music and lyrics, and derives most of her inspiration from life events. She has written, recorded and published 2 albums and is currently working on a third album of Christian origin with Producer, Emmy award winner, Rick Witkowski.
“I’ve been singing since before I could speak sentences” says Sharyn, “this according to my parents, and I’ve been writing my own songs since I was 12. The first song I ever wrote is called ‘Friends’ which I performed for my classmates ( known as the " Newellies") at school on the steps of Wells Jr high in Newell, WV.”
Sharyn co-wrote a song “American Veteran” with writer and friend Kent Cox, for the Lincoln Park preforming Arts Center in Midland PA, which was released in May 2015. You can find it at link. Sharyn also wrote a musical score for a play for the “Hero’s Project”, entitled “Agent Orange” for Lincoln Park performing arts center. It was recorded and produced by Rick Witkowski and it debuted in April 2016 at Lincoln Park.

New horizons!
Hi everyone! Sorry if I have ghosted you. I have been working very hard the last few months on writing a book. A children’s book in fact. It goes along with my children’s song called “the Clown song” named by my four-year-old daughter 30 years ago. Lol. I have three more books in the works and just finished my first titled “the love of a Clown” I am in the process of turning it into an e-book for my website, link, where are you can go to download the book and a free download of the song to go with it. I am so excited to start this venture of “author ism” and I hope you will join me on my journey. My website is being worked on currently, and it is almost complete but I believe you can still shop while it’s being worked on. I am using this platform to fund my next project, my third album, which has God inspired songs. These songs were inspired by tragedy and thankfulness. In Lou of a go fund me page I have decided that it would be better to give something in return for your support hence the store. I really hope you will check it out and buy one of my first two albums or maybe some T-shirts and for sure my new e-books , along with the free song download when they are online to help me find my new project. You guys have been so wonderful to me with your kind words and support… I feel so blessed. You are truly the best!
