Trevor P. Is from Topeka Kansas. He started writing music at the age of 14 yrs. old and producing at 15 years of age.
He earned the title multi-instrumentalist by being a self-taught musician. He started with piano and keyboard at the age of 17 and over the years has also learned how to play drums, some percussion instruments, and bass.
After years of being participating in rap battles around the country, receiving production credits and songwriting recognition he decided to take music into in own hands.
Some people here the title Rapper and they have a certain expectation. Trevor P shouldn’t be put in just one box. When you listen to his music you will find it contains elements of jazz, funk, R & B, hip-hop, electronic, and rock.
He credits musicians and artists such as Tupac, Nas, Brian Culbertson, George Benson, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as being major music influences. Leading him to create a name and stamp in music with his own creations and doing collaborations which artists such as Terrence Thompson.
When writing music, he states that he gets his inspiration from Real Life experiences like, Personal Hardship & Love. Which is reflected in his music. These life learning experiences assist in allowing him to flourish into the artist you see today.
In 2021 Trevor P released his Instrumental Ep Love, Peace and Tranquil which generated a buzz within the indie Jazz and R & B community. This EP title is exactly the actual vibes you get listening to these chill, laid back, beautiful melodies with a deep soothing bass tones that takes you to a tranquil place. Check out Night Vibes and Peace Within, which was so relaxing that one time I didn’t even realize it was on repeat.
His current Album The mystery of Life released early 2022 has garnered attention worldwide with his, Single “Reflection” which is gaining Airplay on radio not only in the United States but around the world. Your gonna want to check out this one. This song just feels good.
In addition to his album, he also released to powerful singles Trevor vs. Lamonte and Intuition. Intuition was a brilliant collaboration with artist, singer/ rapper Kbaby. Her sultry vocals and his remarkable music production has created a song that is quickly gaining its well-deserved recognition.
In 2023 he will be doing another collaboration with KBaby and is also looking forward to a collaboration with Jazz Artist Michael Garvin.
Trevor P has no limit to how high he can soar and he’s proving it as he places a footprint in the music world with his incredible music productions.
