My Love- nice moments- Great Guitar playing!

Sounds like it was recorded very loud. (Which is a good thing) It has a bit of a direct board sounding EQ. (Like it went direct rather than miking speakers). Nice Guitar playing in the solo section. The mix guitar sounds a little over processed in the high end. (maybe chorus). I would prefer more natural sounds, except for the solo. Voice sounds good though. I sometimes felt like it needed a different drum groove and a bass line that goes with it. The groove seem to take away from the story line somewhat, although I think you captured the build and intensity nicely. I also like the mellotron type keyboard at the end.

Great song, sounds a bit like Metallica, the vocals are sung well, excellent guitars especially the guitar solo very good sound and playing, the mix is perfect, nothing needs changing in my opinion, sounds absolutely fine, well done and good luck.

What is it with Vienna!

You guys literally "ROCK" very cool sound, great vocalist, great song, awesome guitar, a lot of good stuff coming out of Vienna :) I would love to see you live, because thats it, its hard to do a live recording in a studio setting, what I'm hearing as a sound engineer is you need more glue in there as in the bass an the drums doing more together and some keys backing the solo. well done. cheers J

Tom TC brings us My Love... ...and I have to admit that I had just heard a pretty bad song before this and when this song started I wasn't in the most patient mood. I almost passed on this song. Then about 30 seconds into the song it began to come to life... and come to life in full bloom it did... 2/3rds the way through the song and I am wondering who was at the beginning of this.... What starts out as a slow reminiscent trip to the 1980's suddenly picked up pace and came roaring out of the other side. The only complaint is that the first 30 seconds does not capture the same essence as the last 30 seconds of the song. In subsequent listening to the beginning again, its the delay and effect on the acoustic guitar that sticks out as a bit of a distraction.... Other than that, this song rocks...

I WOULD COVER THIS SONG ON MY ACOUSTIC

TOM TC YOU GOT IT. FEELIN AND EXACTITUDINAL GUITARISHNESS...EVERYTHING A GOOD ROCK SONG WITH ORIGINALITY AND SHADES OF TOP FORTY IN THERE. YOU COULD BE AS DARING AS YOU WANT WITH OUTLANDISH SHREDDING BEHIND THE SINGING AS YOUR HARMONY SECTION. I COULD DANCE TO THIS ALL NIGHT AS I'M SURE YOU AND YOUR FANS HAVE DONE MANY TIMES..... I'M SURE...... AT THE POINTS IN THIS PIECE WHERE THERE IS TOO MUCH "ECHO OF HOOKS FROM GONE BY EPICS, I WOULD BE A BIT MORE INVENTIVE AND BRASH WITH THE LEAD GUITAR. THIS REMINDS ONE OF G&R WITH ALL THE EMOTION EXPRESSED. IT HAS A FEW GENRES IN THERE FOR SURE. MY ADVISE IS........................................TA DA!!!!! FOCUS ON TWO THINGS: SIMPLICITY AND SURPRISE. YOUR TECHNIQUE IS FLAWLESS SO MAKE IT A BIT LESS 1970-80'S AND INJECT SOME EDGE TO GET THE LISTENERS ATTENTION. WE CALL IT PERKIN' UP YER EARS IN tEXAS!!!!! AND BOSTON TOO.

Shifting grooves and rocking smooth

My love by Tom TC has an epic rock sound that transcends time. Though I couldn't help be reminded of bands like Def Leppard and Triumph, the artist keeps it fresh and throws in a few tricks of his own. Tom's voice has a nice grit and is a super solid musician with a fluid guitar sound that he weaves throughout the song.

potential in the voice

Helpful

I enjoyed listening to this song mainly because the voice of the singer tom tc has got great potential . Although there are some issues regarding the drums and melody. The drums seem not to be in sync with the song in certain parts. Also some of the lyrics seem not to fit in the verses. For me the verses are not as strong as the chorus. I give credit though for a pretty good song and if the writing was improved a bit.The voice is potentially superb . Good stuff!

Great song it smooths out as it it goes (intro and first change up were a little off) but as you go on it smoothed right out. Vocals a are great. Use of the guitar lead to build up is great. The melodies are great and well blended. Really like the song you did a great job on it. Just smoothing out the intro is all i really noticed and that is probably just a freak thing on this recording

Hey there Tom TC How is Austria doing? Just want to say: I really like your voice. Sounds a little bit like eddy vedder. Good power, good guitar parts. DO you play in a Band or do you play everything yourself? Production is ok too ;) good luck in what you do and keep up the good work cheers from Belgium Sennin

One-man band?

This song definitely has some potential. I hear the beginnings of some solid melodies and an interesting guitar line throughout. It really makes me wonder, do you write alone? The reason I ask is it sounds as though you need another person to bounce ideas off of. If you are like me, my ideas start to carry me away and I get really complex and confusing...and this is where this songs ends up for me. Definite possibilities.
