Hey, all! It's been a little while so I thought I'd change up the songs again. This week I've added two of the more "ballad-like" songs from the record: "The Advocate" and "pieces of U." Fun fact about "pieces...:" hidden in the mix is a blend of whale song that includes Orca and Humpback (there may also be some blue whale in there too, I can't quite remember). I felt like this song was a bit cosmic in scope with two timeless beings caught up in a cycle of love, loss and rebirth and the unearthly quality of whale song seemed to fit really well. The song was inspired by the film "The Fountain," starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. For any of you who have not seen it, I highly recommend. Oh yeah. And you can download these new songs too.
