Hey, team! So, I've uploaded the last two songs from the Dark Matter record - the title track, "Dark Matter," and "Hydra." A little history about Hydra: while I am not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I would consider myself an ally; I have very dear friends who are a part of the community. I had heard the phrase "It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" a few too many times and decided to turn it on its ear. I thought, what if it was Adam and Yves instead? The hydra reference comes from microscopic aquatic plant that reproduces by budding and making an identical replica of itself. This made me think of the creation of Adam and Eve where God took one of Adam's ribs to make Eve. In the case of the Hydra, that would make another Adam. So this is my "Anti-hate" protest song. It won't be for everyone but I hope you enjoy it. Sláinte.
