Notis (this singer and composer) and I (bouzouki, harmonica and producer) have been playing together for over 20 years in various clubs, dance halls and festivals. "New Songs of Old Athens" is our first album together and we've had wonderful acclaim, culminating in a submission to this year's Grammy awards as best album in the World Music category. Our next album will be coming out in the next year. It will consist mostly of urban folk tunes from the 1930's through the 1970's, the times during Greece's most trying political struggles.
