Stephen has fronted several bands including Texas' 1990s Alternative Rock group "Pillow"followed by "Bath" a powerful outfit similar to a cross between Jane's Addiction , and the Dead Boys .Members of such bands as, The ButtHole Surfers , Ministry and NIN have produced , performed and even collaborated with him .Stephen also co-wrote more than one song with Gibby Haynes for what would become The Butthole Surfers biggest album yet , "ELECTRIC LARRYLAND.
