Okay, so I did something very different on this song that I don't usually do! Although EVERYTHING I share in my music and music-infused Spoken Word pieces ...really is "Straight from the Heart"...so, in some way, is biographical, I guess. But the story in this song is over-the-top in its BIO-ness! =grin= From back to a time in my life when I would... "Dream of a day when he would share his words with the world who might just believe a fraction of the way that she believed in all the best... she could see in him from the start, and kept finding ways to bless..." And although it's somewhat about my journey...it's mostly about someone on my path who has been more of a friend...in the truest, deepest sense... than I could ever fully express in words. But this song "came through" as a tiny way to "scratch the surface" of worlds of gratitude I have for her... and to try to honor her amazingly gracious and loving presence in my life. She has been "the one constant" in my life...through hundreds of changes... and so much growth and expansion and restructuring and regrouping that have been a constant part of my own journey. Yet she has always "been there" for me, and I truly am "beyond words" grateful for her...and her "Crazy Good Love". It's beyond explanation. It's just a "soul friendship" that defies description. But I just "had to" put a few words together to celebrate this most amazing bond and blessing that I've known for about a decade now....and I couldn't be more thankful! * * * Annnnd... speaking of "thankful"... SO MANY OF YOU...have written to me to express your enthusiasm and appreciation for my me and my music.
