Hi everyone

Just thought I should send a message, nothing much has been happening lately. But the number of views that you have been giving me has encouraged me to write more songs, even though they may not be as popular. My friend Jeff Henry is adding instrumentation to eight songs that I've recorded and hopefully next time I'll be able to add one of them to the list. I just want to thank you again for giving me confidence and hope everything is going well with you.

I hope you've had a good Christmas and New Year.

A couple of months ago I had an operation and it seems since then that I've lost a lot of interest in N1M, but I would like to thank everyone who has listened to my music and recommended it. I've uploaded an old song - the new version seems to be quite popular but unfortunately I don't have a good recording of it so I have uploaded the old version. I hope I gain interest in N1M again in the future.

Hope you enjoyed Halloween. I've changed one of the songs - I have deleted "Death and murder" because it's a bit controversial and I had reached the maximum number of songs that you can have on the site. It will be available at a later date, maybe in two weeks' time, on all the digital channels like Apple Music and Amazon. I have replaced it with an old song called "Bluey youey you" and I was lucky to have Arnie Cottrell, a local musician, play lead on it.

Hope you're all doing well. I'd just like to thank the people who have recommended some of my songs over the last few days as there has been a large increase in the number of views. I'd also like to apologise to the people on my network as I don't know how it works.

The next time we speak to you we'll try and upload a new song, but because we've got the maximum number of songs we will have to delete one. The song we'll delete will be "Death and murder" as it is a bit controversial. I've noticed that in some of my songs I mention "Lord" - if you're interested in religious songs Fool4Christ release a lot of religious songs.

My wife and I did a gig Friday night but only one person turned up - I don't think fame is going to happen somehow (hahaha)

Hope everything is going well for you. I'll have a little chat about the songs on the website - Jeff Henry used Band in a Box to arrange "Muddy waters", "Under a Spielberg sky" and "Play a little tune", he is also on N1M with some of his own songs. Nigel Gordon played lead guitar on most of the songs and Arnie Cottrell played lead on "Perfect days", "Blue eyes" and "When the south wind blows". I'd like to thank them for enhancing the songs.

I said earlier that I'm a member of a guitar club and that we've recorded a song of mine that's not on N1M but unfortunately I have not been able to hear it yet. So I don't know if it's good enough to be uploaded.

I'd like to apologise to a lady who's a DJ in New York who joined my network but because I do't understand how it works I haven't been able to reply. I'd just like to thank everyone for listening to my songs. I'm not interested in a career but it's nice to have them listened to.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the summer. Next week we're on holiday.

Recently I recorded a song with a music group and, depending on how good the recording sounds, I might upload it, if I can discover a way to drop one of the other songs. I am considering dropping "Death and murder" as it's a bit of a controversial song, although most of the songs have the same average number of views. It won't be for a few weeks though. I'll let you know when I discover how this different song sounds.

Hope you're doing well and enjoying the summer. I've reached the maximum number of songs I can have on the website so I won't upload anything today. Me and my wife Jaquie did a charity gig on Saturday and it was good fun. It was for a hospice for patients with cancer and the event raised £380 for the charity. We are both still going to our local folk club and open mic night which is a real pleasure.

"So long" is an old song. I fell for this lady before I met my wife, unfortunately the feelings were't mutual. I've listened to the song and I think maybe I should have changed the key, but unfortunately I can't record it with Nigel Gordon, who plays lead on most of my songs. However this song is his lady's favourite song that we've recently recorded.

Welcome to the new subscribers. It's nice to talk to everyone again. I've just uploaded the song "Where all the rivers run" - Jonathan Cornick wrote the lyrics and Nigel Gordon played lead guitar on it. Jonathan is moving back to the west country where he was brought up and like many people from that area he loves it. He wrote the lyrics when he was in the merchant navy and was abroad missing the west country and reading a book called Where all the rivers run. It seems unlikely that he'll be able to write any more lyrics for me, so this is my thank you and I hope he has a good time back there.

I've nearly reached the maximum number of songs that I can upload so we'll just have to see how it goes. I hope everything is going well for everyone and that you're enjoying this year.

Welcome to the new subscribers. Sorry about the delay but my wife had an accident on her pushbike last week and was hit by a car. Luckily she's only got a fractured ankle and a broken collar bone. However it took between 45 minutes and an hour for the police to arrive and we were told by them that it would take 7 hours for an ambulance to arrive, even though she was in the road on her back. She has trouble using the computer, hence the delay.

We tried to upload a new song today but we've been unable to, hopefully that will change in the near future.

Welcome to the new subscribers. Hope everything's going well. I've just uploaded the song "Walking out", it's a more bluesy song but unfortunately we weren't able to record it in a studio so there are no drums and I'm not singing with as much energy as I normally do. Nigel Gordon has kindly played lead and percussion on it. I'm not sure if the song will be popular with people from Pennsylvania as one time I played it an American gentleman was offended. The song itself is a idea that I got from the Irish song "The wild rover". It has been played by a duo at my local folk club so I thought I'd let other people hear it.

I'd just like to thank everyone who have recommended my songs and apologise to those who joined my network because I'm not sure how it works. I've listened to a number of songs that have been sent to me and they are all of a very high standard.

I've nearly reached the limit of the number of songs that I can upload so I just hope you enjoy them, and that this year will be a good one for everyone.

Nice to talk to you again. Welcome to everyone and the new subscribers. I'm going to upload another song called "Old" which Jonathan Cornick wrote the lyrics to. This is because it's his favourite song that we've written together and it's a thank you for sending me his poetry. This will be the last song that I upload talking about our age because I'm sure some of you younger people are getting a bit bored with it!

I'd just like to thank people who have sent me messages and recommended some of my songs. It's been a real pleasure, especially when one gentleman was very kind and nice.
