Hello there I’m very thankful when people let me know that they like my music and I always knew I wanted to write songs to touch lives. But what people don’t understand is that without purchasing music-There is no way I can continue. I sing lead in Bjornagain -which is an Abba tribute band-Endorsed by ABBA themselves. I would love to go back to my own career where I get to sing my own songs and sell my albums. Unfortunately due to my health being a challenge and the fact that I have three boys at home and a husband who runs a landscaping business, I need to make money and therefore might be removing music from this website. Unfortunately free music does not lead to sales and therefore I cannot continue to make new music. I’m on iTunes and digital -But the record label gets those sales before I make any money. Therefore if you would like me to stay on this website the only way I can continue to keep my Music On ‘Number One’ music is if I have sales. I don’t mind keeping a few songs up -because I appreciate fans spreading the word. However I do feel that many people don’t understand how the music industry really works and especially in this digital age. At the age of 46 I cannot leave my home and promote my music without having paying gigs-or album sales. I have not had the time to create a YouTube channel because of being a parent to 3 boys including a 26-year-old son who has high functioning Asperger’s syndrome-and Is unable to be independent at this time. He is a huge beautiful challenge -and a full-time commitment-And my priority. I hope one day to come into the USA and be able to tour. I’m looking for any advice on what kind of shows that you- the fans-Would be interested in paying to see. I was thinking of doing motivational conferences and helping raise awareness for mental health. Unfortunately people mostly pay to see hits that have already been created by hit artists-and that usually requires tickets being sold for tribute acts. It is very rare that an original recording artist can make a living without grinding it out in small clubs & coffee houses- I performed in many , many places all over North America in my 20s and 30s. I would appreciate any advice anyone would like to give me -and I ask that IF you Would like me to stay on this website- I humbly ask for your support by sending a money order for US$30. You will receive my 14 track album including my 10 chapter e-book.
