About Stan A. Williams
I started writing songs in 1970 to express feelings about the Vietnam War (joined the Army four months later), later collaborated with a friend and then began a serious pursuit in 2005 when we moved into our former home. I had forty-two written and took them to a friend from Nashville to create lead sheets. His house burned and my only copies were destroyed (lesson learned: make multiples and keep them in different places). I can no longer remember what I wrote, so I started over in 2011.
