The last track on SpenDoe’s new 2020 EP, “Smiles & Cries,” is the perfect music for chilling out and appreciating the little things that make life worth it.“Smiles & Cries” is a continuation of the messages instilled by Tupac: “Whatever you see you gotta keep a sense of humor; you gotta be able to smile through all the bullshit.” In this 2020 track, the California-based rapper, SpenDoe, advocates for appreciating the laughs and the cries that come our way. He states in the chorus, “Waking up to live, see, and fight another day, despite all the nightmares and twisted dreamscapes,” a line uncannily similar to that of our friend who died in 1996.
