Ralph Dejean (born January 2 1980) better known by his stage name Sontwisted is a Haitian Born American Rapper/Producer out of Brooklyn New York; Sontwisted has been cultivating his rap style for 29 years refining his flow and delivery to create his own brand of MC’ing. Sontwisted believes in the artistry of rap music with the lyrics being at the fore front and therefore focuses on word play and lyricism over catchy beats and hooks without substance.

Fascination with how the music that supports hip hop referred to as the beat or instrumental can capture the feeling of a song has lead sontwisted to start dabbling in music production to gain full control of his artistic sound.
Sontwisted has been producing for music the past 4 years and keeps to his roots of New York boom bap having been influenced by 9th wonder,RZA,ski beats.

Sontwisted is currently working on his First studio album entitled The long winter slated for release in the fall of 2016 which will be produced 100% by himself .He has released a 13 track LP titled TwistedPerv in the summer of 2013.

Choosing to forgo the traditional major label route for a more direct to fan approach by selling his music strictly through digital means allowing him to retain creative control and gauge fan interaction and responsiveness in real time. Sontwisted is in the process of launching his own independent Record Label Onetwisted Entertainment with a focus on Promoting his music and helping his future artist create a long term sustainable career in music without having to sign away the rights to their intellectual property or watch all the profits of their hard work go into the hands of someone else while they remain financially insolvent.
