We've uploaded three more singles from the first SmartBlackKid album, Change Reaction. Solar Flare is one of the harder rock songs on the album and is a manifesto for underdogs everywhere. Sometimes, you've struggled and paid dues for so long that you have to do what you were born to do, no matter what. Stand Up is call for all intelligent people who care about the state of the world and to not just sit by and stay quiet about what is important to you. Let it Go is song about what we all need to do with worldly and societal conditioning. It's very easy to get caught up in media, culture and perceptions that actually have nothing to do with you. SmartBlackKid is an artist for the people. Many artists say "yeah, my music is different" but for once, you can actually trust that SmartBlackKid works hard at being as original and authentic of an artist as possible. Most people see a black guy artist and automatically assume he's a rapper. Well.. some of us black guys rock too..
