Hello everybody, I just uploaded the album version of "Closer to the edge" to N1M. This song has been initially written in 2017 and was planned to be released on the "Somehow Incomplete" album, but I was not satisfied at all with the outcome and decided to thoroughly rework the song. I did this five years later in summer 2022, giving the song a completely new musical base while keeping the lyrics at least more or less. Recorded it in a basement version then, and now it has become part of my latest album "Leave it all behind". Nicole is singing a powerful second voice in this album version, and of course Chris Franks's mix and mastering has added a lot of quality to my initial recording. Enjoy. Cheers, schnoed
