If there's a shine on your shoes and a melody in your heart - Hey! who could ask for more. I'm giving everyone some diversity of arrangements to help with writing skills. Some of my songs are not recorded well because they're the original concepts of the tunes. My songs, sometimes,were only played once or twice during conception but recorded for posterity. Some are over 50 yrs old. Hang on to every little piece you write. When I was 14 yrs old I learned to play guitar and started teaching two yrs later. I've always been an over-achiever in everything --- Try your best in all things.(Don't forget to give of yourself and help others).

This particular album was produced after Eric's son died when he fell out of a high-rise apartment window that didn't have a screen attached. It's been a few years ago since this happened but I remembered the stress was more than the family could handle. The only person around was their housekeeper. I put 4 songs on the list. Listen to his (expired link) is such a great writer. I think his son was around 3 yrs old.

Acoustic songs were written in Denver,(expired link) 1976. Street singing;coffee houses;parties and clubs in the mountains. Easy listening music was written in 2010. I wrote every night for 3 weeks straight -- a song a night in the order you see here..Paper Words and Fantasies was written in Dallas,Texas in 1970. I'll Love Again ;Dreamer and Memories was written by Tim Stevens from Tyler,Texas. He played all instruments and I did voices circa 1990.. I sang for Black Pearl for 13 yrs Thank you for listening. At age 14 I taught myself to play guitar and was teaching at age 16. Started singing in bands and performing at local drive-in theaters on weekends .When I was a senior in (expired link). - I sang on a local dance show called "Something Else" (WFAA Channel 8 out of Dallas,Tex.) Sang with the Dennis Lowe Band around the Dallas area. Played at the Office Club in (expired link) at "The Cellar" in Dallas across from KLIF radio station Went to college for awhile. Went to California for a year and to Denver, Colo.-Played mtn. bars and coffee houses in the Denver area. After 5 yrs moved to Hide-a-Way Lake in Lindale, (expired link) there 6 yrs and moved to 110 acre farm .Opened up Nick Ranger (expired link) singing with Southwest FOB and eventually changed our name to Black Pearl ,With them 13 yrs. Moved to Rusk,Tx and met a lady who knew Delbert McClinton band but she died before I was introduced. I bought her mothers' house and lived there 15 yrs. More later......
