First of all, I know I haven't updated you all in a long time, and I apologize for that. But new music is near! I have admittedly been setting music on hold for a while, for both good and bad reasons, but I'm back at it! I just finished the first draft (hopefully just of two) for the lyrics of the entire song, which this time includes a verse 2 and a bridge. The music I wrote for it has been mostly set for a while (I know, it's weird to write the music first), and might only need a few little adjustments to fit the newly written lyrics. The lyrics were harder to write this time because this is a song that I wanted to be mirroring the darkness and hopelessness of wanting to end it all, but still convey that there is hope for finding the light, and freedom from pain's control; as there will always be pain in our lives, but you can learn to not let it define you. That's something I'm still learning myself. I hopefully will have the song ready to upload here within the next couple weeks, so stay tuned :) A big thank you to all my fans for encouraging me to keep doing this! Until next time.
