Checking in

Hey friends, I'm in rehearsals for some upcoming concerts and really practicing a lot of jazz stuff the last month or so. The jazzy tunes i posted here are from an album I recorded live with Patrick O'Leary on bass and Randy Porshia on drums some 20 years ago called "Zeal...Soar Spirit, Soar!" Back then i thought about playing more jazz but then i got to record with Will Ackerman and all my attention got diverted to the New Age genre. That cd, The Path Ahead, won the Best New Age Album in the 2010 Independent Music Awards. But now I'm back working on my arrangements of a few jazz standards from Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett, Monk, to name a few. I'm also composing too. Playing this jazz stuff has me thinking about how I can combine both genre Jazz and New Age. So we'll see. I'm trying to decide whether to sign up here for the paid service but i read that alot of the new sites like this are just making artists believe that they're more popular than they really are during the free part then after i pay would move on to the next musician. I worry about that here. So...please Google me and see what I'm doing musically and in life.. as if they were different :) Thank you for your suport. If you guys who seem to really like my work are real then you'll not mind joining my mailing list at ReverbNation or contact me on fb ...that'd be one way to know you'rea real person. ...just Google me and contact me to be in my loop. :) If you don't ill take it in consideration about spending any time here.so...let me know ok? Somewhere off this site ok? If all of you let me know tgat way ill for sure put some money into it. Thanks again. Be well and have fun! Rocky
